About MGF

My journey along this compassionate yet challenging mission started way back in 1991 in Ukunda a locality of Msambweni Subcounty , Kwale County under a CBO names Mama Gladys Ministry for the Needy. It is at this juncture that I noticed the gap in providing of basic necessities to needy, physically and mentally challenged and to the orphaned. The thought of giving a helpful hand did not rise without involvement of respective parents in disstress and inherent incapacities to stand up to the occasion of consistent provisions of basic needs.
As I embarked on this profound journey, I envisioned the faces of the children I'll had the privilege to serve, each one representing a story of resilience and hope. I see their smiles lighting up the room, their laughter filling the air with joy, and their dreams igniting a spark of inspiration within me. People and organisations of goodwill have all through donated items, cash and services for this noble course and have surely been of great impact. I truly do not know what I could have done without you on my side

A Vision of Hope

I looked beyond the challenges and setbacks, focussed on the vision I held in my heart: a safe haven where every child felt loved, valued, and empowered. I imagined a community where compassion knows no bounds and where every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances

Sustainable growth

I saw my center thriving and flourishing, sustained by the collective efforts of a dedicated community. I envisioned partnerships forming, resources flowing, and opportunities expanding as we worked together towards a common goal. I imagined my center as a beacon of hope, shining brightly even in the darkest of times.

Compassionate Action

I felt the empathy flowing through my veins as I reached out to those in need, listening intently to their stories and understanding their struggles. I commited myself to let my actions speak volumes as I rolled up my sleeves and worked tirelessly to turn my vision into reality, one step at a time.

A Legacy of Love

I felt the warmth of love radiating from my heart, knowing that every action I took was guided by compassion and fueled by a deep sense of purpose. I envisioned the impact my center will have, not just on the children I serve, but on generations to come. I saw myself as a catalyst for change, leaving a legacy of love that will endure long after I'm gone.
